My great, great grandfather JAMES HOARE died in Liverpool 1873.His age at death was given as 70 years. On his marriage certificate ( Liverpool)1872 he said his father was DEANE HOARE, gentleman. He married (Liverpool) 1871 ALICE THOMPSON whose father, was NATHANIEL THOMPSON, bootmaker. In the 1861 census Liverpool, James' age is given as 50 occupation porter, born Cork Ireland. Alice is named as his wife aged 36 born Wexford Ireland. Also their son JAMES born Dublin age not clear but in his teens. There is a Christening entry for JOHN JAMES HORE son of James and Alice, Liverpool 1861. JOHN JAMES HOARE, SON OF JAMES and ALICE HOARE was my great, grandfather . We have not been able to find a record of JAMES HOARE born Cork son of DEANE HOARE, or of ALICE THOMPSON born Wexford daughter of NATHANIEL THOMPSON. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who thinks they may be connected to any of the above, and very happy to give further details to any one interested. Beryl Houghton
