About Our Family Research


In 1852 James Houston left Ireland with his wife Jane and settled in Bendigo Australia. They had 13 Children with only 5 making it in to adulthood. These are William born in 1854 and married Margaret Pinal, David born 1862 and married Alice Emily Simmonds, Ann Jane born 1864 and married Gordon Young, Robert James born 1867 and married Elizabeth Marquand and Thomas born 1870 who never married.
