About Our Family Research

The Robert Walker family and Samuel Mallards' widow and family came from Ontario and settled in the Willow Glen area north of Provost around 1914-1916.These are my great-grandparents. My grandparents are Robert Earl Walker and Mable L. Hall.
George Brassard came from St Anne de Prescott, Quebec around the age of 16 he then married Eva Pound originally from North Dakota and had a family of five in which my grand mother was born to Lorette Brassard she then married George Richard Howe from the Buffalo/Atlee area of Alberta. The Howe family originated in Derbyshire,England and came to Montana as rancher and then came to Canada because of the fact that thier cattle crossed the border in the early 1900's. Ranching is an occupation that is still alive today by some family members. My parents are George L. Howe and Dawn L. Walker.
