Still looking for information on my GGF-Dr. Swinfield F. Howell, b.17 Oct 1860, d.21 Jul 1922. Do not know where he was born, older family members think maybe in VA or TN. Married to Maggie Price, b.18 May 1963, d.22 Sep 1939. We know nothing about Maggie, where she was from, where or when she and Swin were married, or any family connections. I have located numerous Swinfield Howells, but none of them were the Swinfield in my line. There must be some connections, as it is such an unusual name. He may have been named for a relative, or a relative named after him. He and Maggie had at least three children, Edward, Rose, and Frank James--who is my GF. All settled in various parts on NC and TN. From my Grand-parents through the next five generations, all descendants are documented. I need assistance going backwards!
