Grandfather born in Scotland -John Caughie- in the town of Stranrar county of Wigtonshire, married Katherine McNally. He became a marine engineer sailing out of Glasgow.One of their children was my mother, Mary, born April 27,1899; she emigrated to Buffalo, N.Y. after WW I. Siblings were: John, Thomas, James,William,Cathy, George and Elizabeth. All are now deceased, but William sired two sons, the only known male grandchildren, except me. I would
be delighted to locate anyone possibly related to this family.Added info: James moved to Australia after WW II where he married and sired a family, names unknown to me.
