William Peebles Sly (b. 21 Jul 1865, d. 14 Mar 1953)
William Peebles Sly (son of Peter (1) Sly and Mary Peebles) was born 21 Jul 1865 in Bristol Quebec, and died 14 Mar 1953 in Neepawa Man.(buried Gladstone). He married Elizabeth Stewart on 25 Dec 1901.
Notes for William Peebles Sly: William moved to Manitoba in 1886. He homesteaded in the Kekiwan District just 1 mile west of the Stewart family. After they were married they farmed 1/2 section of land until 1920 when Elizabeth's failing health forced them to sell the farm and move to New Westminster B.C. After a number of years they returned to Manitoba and purchased !/2 section in the Preston District,near Gladstone. In 1946 they sold and moved into Gladstone.
