Peter [2] Sly (son of Peter (1) Sly and Mary Peebles) was born 19 Jul 1870 in Bristol Quebec, and died 9 Oct 1935 in Saskatchewan. He married Dorothy Ida Smiley on 17 Nov 1908.
Notes for Peter [2] Sly: Farmed neasr Bristol for a few years then became a Carpenter in Shawville Quebec and Ottawa Ontario. He moved West and helped build bridges on the Crow's Nest Pass RR. After going as far as Alaska he settled near Gladstone Manitoba in 1900 and the fol;lowing year married Ida. She had also came west from Bristol Quebec to assist her sister Sarah McRae. In 1905 they moved to Brooksby near Star City Sashatchewan.
