I began searching the internet a few weeks ago for descendents. My first hit was my maternal grandmother, Dorothy Whitford. I traced her family back to Truror England in about 1690. I located my maternal grand father Glendon R Lewis at Family search. I was only able to identify his father but have a long list of his mother's ancesters dating back to 1500 in France. I also included the information I received from my father's cousin, Robert Hesenperger, on the Foley ancestors. I recently shared this informaion at a family gathering at my daughter Joanne Bean's home. My sister Cindy and 2 of her children, Andy and Julia were also in attendance as was my Uncle Jim Foley and Aunt Joan. My daughter Becky and her husband Paul Noel and my son John Crusen were there also. We watched the 4th of July fireworks in Peoria, IL from the top deck of the OSF, St Francis Parking lot. Cindy and I met again while she was visiting and visited our old home on Moss Ave. The Ott's who bought it from my parents in 1967 still lived there. It was just as beautiful and big as I remembered. They have it beautifully decorated and have turned the back yard into a showplace patio garden.
