I am currently looking for any information that will assist in my search for my great-great grandfathers parentage. When he was young his father died in the Civil War and his mother then may have moved back to around the New Albany, Indianna area. She passed away when William was very young and he considered himself an orphan.

I am in hopes that the information about his life forward will provide a clue to someone that may have a family connection. Thanks in advance for any information.
