About Our Family Research

I am researching the family of Andrew [1830-1901] and Catherine Welch [1831-1898] and Samuel A. Bingham [1845-1898] and Nancy Anna Crossen [1839-1922], my great grandparents, who settled in Richmond, McHenry County, Illinois in the 1850's and '60's. Andrew was born in Ireland, Catherine in Detroit, Samuel in Enniskillen, Durham County, Ontario of William [1819-1907] and Elizabeth Mills [1823-1901] Bingham and Nancy in Scotland of Hugh [1815-1902] and Mary Dailey[1820-1895] Crossen. William was born in Ireland, Hugh in Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland and Mary in Clyde, Scotland or possibly Ireland. Hugh and Mary Crossen also lived in Richmond.

My immediate grandparents are Frank Howden [1863-1940] and Clara Bingham [1875-1942]. Frank had two sisters, Teresa Ann [who married Edward L. Herrick] and Nellie [who married Frank N. Armstrong and Emil Windmueller]. Clara sisters were: Ella, Nellie [who married Charles Barton] and Mate.

I am seeking information regarding my 2nd Howden and Welch grandparents and 3rd Bingham, Mills, Crossen and Dailey grandparents.
