Both Ferdinand & his wife Wilhelmine Zielke come from West Prussia,Wilhelmine from Lottyn & Ferdinand (?). They with their 4 sons - August Wilhelm - Franz Gotthardt - Carl August Ferdinand -Franz Carl -left Germany from Stettin on the Ship Franklin and arrived in USA 1873. My Grandfather Charles Ernest Was born 2 Oct 1873in Newburg Orange, NY.
My research has been mainly, looking for Ferdinand's birth place. He was a Stellmacher (carpenter) by trade.
