Louise moved to Rome, New York after her marriage , worked in various positions in nursing including, In service director, supervisor and Director of Nursing. She was active in the education programs for the American Heart Association, and American Cancer Society. Was a CPR instructor through The American Heart Association. Taught part time at Mohawk Valley Community College and clinical instructor for BOCES LPN program. Earned BS in Nursing at Utica College of Technology and a MS in management. Moved back to Syracuse, New York in 1982 and took a position of Director of Nursing at Loretto Geriatric Center. Then in 1987 accepted a position as Nurse Surveyor for the NY State Department Health until her retirement in 1996.
