Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of family members who have gone on to be with the Lord, and it pained me that my children never met some of the most wonderful people God ever created. I started thinking about how I could convey my thoughts and memories to them, and in the process talked a lot with my grandmother, who has told me bits and pieces of the family history. It scares me how much history you lose when you lose a loved one, so I am trying to do something about it, so that my children and their children will know about their heritage. I have found more information than I can process in the time frame I had set aside, so I toil lovingly, and slowly on the trail of history that makes me who I am. I have had so much fun with it that my family all think I have turned into a computer "geek". But it will be worth it if and when my journey to my "roots" is done. I hope anyone who visits me will get a good laugh at me and my humble endeavors, and I hope you find a connection to the Greatest Family Tree on Earth. Ha Ha
