My research is mainly by 'word of mouth' from the very few family who does not know much, like myself. I know my father died at Auburn Railway Station Sydney about 1943 he worked as a shunter. Earlier in his life he was a Panel Beater...he worked at Cobar, where he met my mother Eva May Grogan, they had 5 children, I was the 5th child, one child died at the age of 6month from whooping cough, he was the second child born, (I think) all my brothers and sisters died relatively young...Lucy, the eldest died at the age of 52, Vona died at 22 years old from a heart condition, Errol died aged 59 from cancer....I am at this moment just turning 68, I was born in 1933. Both my brother Errol and I had/have good tennis abilities, and tenor singing voices, mine I used and made a good living singing at weddings etc.. we both played good grade tennis, although I went on to become Australia's No.6 Junior and made a very good living out of tennis, both playing and coaching bringing various players to world standard. I married and had 7 children, all of whom are living with children and great children.
