The Huffsmith family came originally from Germany and imigrated to the U.S.A. From family legend (not necessarily true) the Huffsmiths migrated from the Eastern Seaboard into Pennsylvania, and along with immigrants from Holland, moved Westward across the United States. Colorado was a gathering place for the Huffsmith clan and many located in that state.
