My father was Leslie Patrick Campbell, son of William, grandson of Edward who was married in N.S.W. in Australia in 1851, whose ancestors came from the Redditch area in England.Edward was born about 1825 - 1828. We believe he was baptised in the church of St. John the Baptist in Feckenham in 1828, and that his parents were Samuel and Sarah Campbell, who married there in 1827. We are trying to establish whether the family originated in Scotland, and where this might have been. Edward was married to Margaret Graham from Belfast, and he was a draper by occupation.
