I am looking for my Hufnagel family ancestors. My grandfather, Charles Hufnagel, was an itinerant peddler in New York City. I think he may have been born in the United states. He died around 1914. He may have had a relative (brother?) named Friederich. My grandmother, Mary Knies, came to the US from Germany, in the mid 1800s, and originally lived in Scranton, PA, or near there.
