About Our Family Research


The Missouri Huffman's emanate from Jacob Huffman and Elizabeth Fox. Both came to Missouri from Ohio.
Jacob spent a number of years in the Southwest trying his luck in the Gold Rush and later as a guide.He then returned to Ohio, Married Elizabeth and emigrated to Missouri. They settled in a small community in Carroll County, named Wakenda, raised their family on a farm and are buired there.
