Our serious family research began in the summer of 1997 when we began to search into the family surnames of Huffman, Rogers, Latimer, Booker, Riddell, Holloway, Fox and et.al.
The most extensive information has been found on the maternal side, namely the Bookers, who emigrated to Missouri from Amelia County, Virginia in 1837, and before that traced to Nottingham, England. Other English surnames researched are Leake, Cobbs, and Baskerville and through the Baskervilles back to the time of William the Conqueror and before.Recently an e-mail source has given us a lead to one Tydir ap Trefor who died in 948, and from the looks of it, probably from Wales. So, the search continues.
