Searching for Huffman's originally of South Carolina, specifically William, who migrated thru Randolph Co. Alabama and on to Choctaw Co. Mississippi. William's wife is unknown to us but is believed to be a Lamb related to Nicholas and Temperance Lamb. Temperance is listed as originally from Fredric Co, Maryland.
William HUFFMAN was born about 1816 in South Carolina according to census records. He was in Randolph Co. Ala in 1840 and in Choctaw Co. Miss in 1860 with 4 of his 5 children but no wife.
Nicholas LAMB was born about 1777 in Dinwiddie Co. Va. He was married to Temperance in Jasper Co. Ga. about 1798-1800 and was on Randolph Co. Ala. 1840 census. Moved to Choctaw Co Miss by 1850. William's children were listed on 1850 census with Nicholas and his son, Joshua.

Also would like information on ancestors of Jesse HUFFMAN located near Marion Co. Alabama. It is thought that Jesse was married twice with a large family by both wives.
