I am currently working on several families of my ancestors-- Robert Hughey from Glasgow, Scotland; Sylvestor Proffitt, born in Perth, Scotland; the Thompsons of Virginia; Daniel Crowe; Michael Dumford; the Horns of Germany; the Waggoners of Pennsylvnaia; the Strouds/the Strodes; the Coxes; the Garlands and Dickersons/Dickensons; the Pulliams; the Cosbys; William Stephenson; the McCallisters; and the Pleasants. I have yet to research my mother's kin, the Taborskys, the Stuarts, the Sills, and the McTaggarts. The Stuarts, Sills, and McTaggarts were from Canada, and the Taborskys hail from what is now the Czech Republic. Key starting points in the Americas were Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the Carolinas. I have also been doing research on the Pitt/Pitts family, which with the Horns, have links to Fort Boonesborough, Kentucky.
