Most of my HUGHES tree on my Father's side is based from VA/WV, and on into Ohio. The related Hughes lines are many. A few are, Hurdman/Herdman, Anderson, Barr, Fox, Miller, and Sayre. Those lines of course, are related to many other lines in Western West Virgina.

My mother's line is SHEARS, from VA/WV, and into Ohio and Indiana. The main lines for Shears are Bailey, Booth, Millard, and a few others in Indiana.

In my wife's tree, GOODWIN, I have additional lines that are from UK/Scotland/Wales area, that are seperate from the Hughes line that is from Wales. These lines also go into PA and Ohio. The main lines in this side of my tree are McLardy,Beaver, and Goodwin.

CAUTION: Due to my inexperience, most of my early research has no sources, and I must admit that later research falls into the same category. I did not post anything that I was not reasonably sure was correct.
