Am beginning my search of my father's family tree. Have very little to begin with but will do my best at this time.
I would like to have my children know more about their paternal grandfather's family roots. I have certainly missed not knowing anything about this portion of my family.
If anyone has any information regarding Harold Church, who I believe lived in LaJunta or the surrounding areas. There is a possibility that he died in Pueblo, Colorado in the 1970's. If I have located the correct Harold Church the year of his death was 1975. He would have been married in approximately 1915+or-. He was married to Maude C. Akin and fathered two boys, Richard Arnold (c.1917-1986) and Donald Lee (c.1920-1949). Donald was killed in February 1949 in a plane crash in Tacoma WA while making ferry flights from Tacoma WA to Florida after WWII. I believe it was the B38(?) that he was piloting.
