The family research started with Mary Ann McAnaspy Dougherty (B: 1-5-1831 in Penna). She married Stephen Dougherty who was born in Ireland August 5, 1811 died 10-2-1887 in Woodsfield Ohio.

Mary Ann and Stephen had 9 children one of which was Rebecca Ann (1854 - 1927). She married Edward Bernard Hughes (1852-1903) 10-14-1873. Mary and Edward are my Great Grand Parents and I am trying to find the ancesters of Edward Bernard Hughes who was born in Monroe County, Ohio and died in Toronto, Ohio.
