I have been researching my family for about 2 years now. I started with the Rodrigue side (my Mom's family) and soon expanded to searching for my Dad's people which has taken me from England, Ireland, Maine, Massachusetts and all across this country.
Surnames I've been researching are Rodrigue, Uzee' - my Mom's French and Arcadian ancestry; the Hannons, Marshalls, Kidders, Hutchings, Seymours and Hamiltons - all on my Dad's side.
I've also been attempting to locate my husband's Hughes family, which has proven to be very difficult, and his Raley family which has hit a "brick wall" in Alabama and Georgia.
