The Lequires are from Bryson City,NC My Dad Clint Harvey Lequire married my Mother Mary Ethel Walsh on 04-13-1939. They lived on Nolands Creek in Swain Co.NC until the early forties,When they had to move beacuse of TVA DAMS. They moved tp Upper Peachtree in Murphy,NC,and built and homesteaded Pipes Branch. I was born at Pipes Branch in Upper Peachtree on May, 02,1945. MY Mom's Family is the Walshs of Upper Peachtree. Their old place was located on Lundsford Road. It burnt down in middle or late fifities, and my Grandpa Grover Walsh move over to a house on upper peachtree road. My mother Mary Ethel Walsh inherited it afer my grandpa died,and lived there with her husband Clint Lequire until her death in 1984. My son and I bought it after the flood of 1994 and I now make it my home with my husband Rocky Hughes also with a trailer next door.
