About Our Family Research
I have been researching my family history since I was about 10 years old. I have been fortunate to come in contact with some very helpful people that helped compile this information. The Hughey family came from County Tyrone, Ireland in 1824. They immigrated from Londendarry to Canada, then resided permanently in Salem, New York, Washington County. I am the last person to carry the Hughey name and hope to pass it along. If you are a relation or have any information, it would be greatly appreciated.
