My grandfather, Gerhard Paul Gramp, emigrated from Germany in 1912, settling in NJ, where his older brother Otto was already established. A sister, Helene, remained in Meerane, Saxony, Germany. He married my grandmother, Alice Victoria Sax in 1913. In 1953, Gerhard and his youngest son Otto traced the line back to the 1700's. There are lots of holes, and I am now attempting to verify the data and fill in the missing data.
