Just getting started on my research.
I am Sheri Elizabeth Stewart married Millard ONeil Hughes Jr. son of Millard O Hughes Sr and Ruth Howard Hughes Smith. My parents are Robert Latham Stewart and Linda Carol Manning.
Our Stewart Line is very vague. My Grandfather was George Latham Stewart born 2/22/1922. He married Katherine Azalea Teague. He had 2 brothers, John Delano Stewart and Zeno Stewart~ Zeno died as a child in New Bern NC. His father worked as a bridge attendent. My grandfather was blind and met Katherine at Wilson School for the Blind. He ran the concession stand beside the Lenoir County Courthouse. I have no further information on his family.
The Teague Line is also quite vague. They are from around Waynesville, Hendersonville, Asheville NC area. My Grandmother is the daughter of George Teague and Emma ?. She had several brothers and one sister. (Ada T. Branks, Frank Teague, Paul Teague, ? ? ?)
Mannings are from Black Jack area, maybe Pitt County. My Grandfather Lester Earl Manning married Onnie Ree Herring. His parents were Alfred Lee Manning and Thelma Dickerson. Brothers and Sister: Lee Odell Manning (living), Otha Glen Manning (Living), Guy MacDonald Manning, Samuel David Manning, Mary Manning Beard. I have info back to Elisha Manning and wife Martha Meeks. There is no info on Elisha's parents. He had a brother Jabez.
Herrings are from Albertson, NC area and parts of Duplin and Wayne counties. My Grandmother, Onnie Ree Herring married Lester Earl Manning. Her parents were John James Herring and Cena Elizabeth Harper. Brother & Sisters: Sadie Rae Manning, Ethel Mae Holloman, A Dell Holloman, James Edward (Buddy) Herring. Sadie married Samuel David Manning. Ethel and Adell married brothers~ Woodrow and Sammie Holloman. John had a son by his first marriage, Horace Herring.
