My Fifth Great Grandfather Johb Willson emigrated from Englsnd to Lancater, VA in 1562, when he became of age, accompanie by two of his brothers, He was endentured by Augustine Moore. He and his wife, Alice. immigrated to Albrmarle Precinct, N C in
1664 where their child, James, was born. My Second Great Grandfather, Elisha Moore Willson dropped one "L" in Wilson and started spelling Wilson with one "L". My Father, George Washinton Wilson, was born on 15 August, 1898, in Sampson Co, NC. His parents were Major John Thomas Wilson, CSA, and Matilda Carroll.
