The Hulmes of Edmonton and area. Updated February 24, 2001
About Our Family Research
My history on the family is a little rusty but I will do my best to fill you in. 2 Hulmes were born in saskatoon, saskatchewan. Their names were Ron and Bernard. They grew up in saskatoon until about 1950 and then moved to Edmonton, Alberta. The 2 brothers moved into separate houses (Note:For miliatry service, Ron was a Royal Canadian Air Cadet and Bernard served with the army reserve in the 50's.Bernard was in the army in the 50's but avoided the Korean war). They moved because there mother died. Bernard lived with his father and Ron got married and lived in a different house. Ron had 2 kids, Greg and Rob. Both went ot the same schools and stayed in the same house until they moved out. Rob was 3 years older than Greg. In the 80's Greg got married. Having 2 kids, his eldest son, Chris and his daughter melanie. Bernard never got married and Ron hulme passed away in 1988. Rob and Greg still live in Edmonton(Rob lives in st.albert which is beside Edmonton). Gina Hulme, the mother of Greg Hulmes kids moved from Edmonton and out to Stony Plain, a small town West of Edmonton. Chris Hulme, sort of following hid Grandfather, joined the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. If you ask me the military skipped a generation in the Hulme family of Edmonton. That is it for now.I will add more when I find out more. Bye for now.
