My g/g/g grandfather HENRY COLLYER < spouse to date possibly > HANNAH TAYLOR they had a son named GEORGE COLLYER in 1823 who married SUSAN DEDMAN {like to be called SUSANNAH} her father's name JAMES DEDMAN) at ST. PETER'S CHURCH, OLDWOKING, Surrey in 1823.they lived their last years in PERCY ST. WOKING , GEORGE died in July 1901 aged 79 yrs & SUSANNAH died in April 1909 aged 84 yrs.
They had 12 children, one of which was named WILLIAM born in 1865, who married a ANN ----- <surname unknown >. They also had a son named WILLIAM ROBERT COLLYER born 1900 (who is my grandfather) and They lived at 4,Butts Cottages,Copse Road,<ST John's>,Woking,Surrey & both WILLIAM & ANN,are buried at the <local church> St. John's.ANN died in 1941 & WILLIAM died in 1960.
Too date ,we think WILLIAM ROBERT is their only child.He married DAISEY IRENE LEVERETT (father's name ALFRED LEVERETT) at Guildford Reg- Office in 1922 & they had 3 children named - ROBERT & NANCY born at WOKING, they then moved to EASTBOURNE, Sussex where VIOLET was born in 1927. A few years afterwards their marriage broke down & WILLIAM & all 3 children returned to ST. John'S WOKING, where they all lived together at 4,COPSE RD.
