Albert Reinhold Hunt (son of George Cornelius Hunt and Martha Magdelena Ruehling) was born 20 Feb 1903 in Altenburg, Perry County, Missouri, and died 08 Aug 1967 in St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa. He married Gertie Johanna Bushman on 20 Dec 1927 in Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa³⁷⁷, daughter of Karl Friedrich Buschmann and Johanna Jennie Kampmeier Seeden.

Albert R. Hunt, 64 of Glidden died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, August 8, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll where he had been a patient for two weeks.

He was born Feb. 20. 1903, at Altenburg, Mo., and attended school in Missouri. He had been a resident of this area for 45 years. A retired businessman, he had owned and operated the Glidden Locker Plant for five years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the Booster Club of Glidden.

Albert Hunt
died Tuesday

Albert Hunt, 64, a retired Glidden Businessman, died Tuesday morning, August 8, at St. Anthony hospital in Carroll. Mr. Hunt had been ill and a patient in the hospital for about two weeks.
Funerl services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, at Peace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Martin J. Ludwig will officiate. Interment will be made in Westlawan cemetery. Friends wishing to do so may make contributions to a memorial fund.
Mr. Hunt had owned and operated the Glidden Locker here for about five years until he retired from the business on July 1, 1966, selling it to Mr. and Mrs. Junior Stutzman. Prior to that time, he was engaged in farming in the Glidden area.
Survivors include his wife, Gertie; and 5 children, Mrs. Clayton (Darlene) Teague of Otho, Cecil of Milwarkee, Wisc; Mrs. Rober (Doris) Brumback of Omaha, Nebr,; Sp. 4 Leland of Kassel, Germany; and A/3c Donald of Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas; several grandchildren; 4 brothers, Joe of Glidden; Herman of Auburn; George and Charles of Altenberg, Mo; and one sister, Mrs. Louise Webers of Illinois.
