"My mother often told us not to threaten anyone or say bad things about them because Mamma (Eve) always took dinner to the mine where her husband worked every day. One day she was late and her husband threatened if she was ever late again he would break every bone in her body. The next day when she and the other wives took dinners for their husbands there had been a cave-in and her husband was killed. When they brought his body out nearly every bone was broken."
