DEATH COMES TO MRS. MIKE HEUTON SUNDAY Nine Children and Seventeen Grandchildren Left to Mourn Her Loss
Mrs. Mike Heuton died at St. Anthony hospital Sunday forenoon at 11 o'clock. She had received a stroke of paralysis at her home in the northwest part of Glidden on the previous Monday and her death after that was but a matter of days. She was 60 years, 7 months, and 28 days. The funeral was conducted by Rev. J.H. Iverson at the Lutheran church on Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended by many relatives and friends. Pall bearers were J.H. Ford, Anton Truhe, Geo. Wetter, Gus Kluegel, Hans Thede, Casper Backhaus. The remains were laid to rest in Westlawn Cemetery. The deceased, Mrs. Margaret Heuton, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Seeden, was born in Germany September 8, 1858. At the age of 23 years she came to America and made her home in Sheridan township. In the same years she was untied in marriage to Mr. Mike Heuton. To this union were born nine children - Henry, Richard, William, Frederick, Onke and Margaret Heuton, Mrs. Recka Dillivan, Mrs. Ada Bushman, and Mrs. Hannah Brechell of Pine City, Minn. The near relatives left to mourn her death are her husband, her nine children and seventeen grandchildren, two sister, Mrs. Henry Prill and Mrs. Chas. Bushman; two brothers, Dick and Fred Seeden. Three bothers and one sister died in Germany.
