Notes for Harm Diedrich Bushman: OBITUARY HARM DIEDRICH BUSHMAN Harm Diedrich Bushman, 94, of Glidden, died Sunday, October 19, at the Carroll Manor following a long illness. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden with the Rev. David Fechner as celebrant. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery in Glidden. A prayer service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 21 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden. The casket was moved to the church at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to lie in state until the time of the service. Casketbearers were Gene Kruse, Jeff Kallman, Scott Kallmen, Todd Kallman, Delbert Heuton and Charles Best. Mr. Bushman was born September 19, 1892, at Glidden, the son of Charles and Jennie Seeden Bushman. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Leta) Kruse of Glidden and Mrs. Thomas Kallman of Walnut Creek, CA, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John (Jane) Peter of Glidden, Mrs. Gertrude Hunt of Glidden, and Mrs. Lillian Schafer of Glidden; and three brothers, Harry Bushman of Lake City, Earl Bushman and his wife Dorothy, of Glidden, and Robert Bushman and his wife, Majorie, of Glidden. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lydia Kluegel Bushman in 1975, a brother Dick, a sister, Ada Heuton; a sister, Caroline Best, and a brother Carl Bushman. Mr. Bushman was married at Peace Lutheran Church by the Rev. Iverson. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church where he held many church offices. Mr. Bushman farmed near Glidden until he retired in 1972. He lived at the Carroll Manor since 1978.
