Harry F. Bushman (son of Karl Friedrich Buschmann and Johanna Jennie Kampmeier Seeden) was born 10 Apr 1906 in Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa, and died 27 Jul 1989 in Lake City, Iowa. He married Mildred Marie Douglas on 19 Feb 1930 in Peace Lutheran Church, Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa.

OBITUARY
HARRY F. BUSHMAN
GLIDDEN - Funeral services for Harry F. Bushman of Glidden will be Saturday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden. Bushman, 83, a retired farmer, died Thursday, July 27, 1989, at the Shady Oaks Nursing Home in Lake City, following a long illness.
The Rev. Erland Asmus will officiate at the service. Organist will be Mrs. Don Hansen, and vocalist will be Ed Walkup.
Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden.
The casket will be moved to the church at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery in Glidden.
Casket bearers will be Charles Best, Kenneth Bushman, Raymond Peter, Cliff Bushman, Raymond Kruse, and Arnold Heuton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Hunt, Phillip Bushman, David Bushman, Delbert Heuton, Lowell Platt and Richard Bushman.
Mr. Bushman was born April 10, 1906, at Glidden a son of Charles and Jennie (Seeden) Bushman.
On Feb. 19, 1930 he was married to Mildred Douglas by the Rev. Rudi at Peace Lutheran Church parsonage.
The Bushman's farmed for more than 30 years in the Lohrville and Glidden areas. In 1962 they moved to Glidden from the farm east of Glidden where they lived. They lived there until March 1985. After his wife's death in 1985 he moved to the Shady Oaks Nursing Home.
He was a lifelong member of Peace Lutheran Church and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Through the years, he held many church offices.
Survivors include a son, Larry, and his wife, Sandy, of Fort Dodge; a daughter, Diane (Mrs. Neil) Wheeler of Des Moines; five grandchildren; Ashley, Kimberly and Bradley Bushman and Heather and Haley Wheeler; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Peter and Mrs. Gertrude Hunt, and two brothers, Earl and Bob Bushman, all of Glidden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on March 24, 1985; three bothers, Dick, Harm, and Carl Bushman, and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Heuton, Mrs. Caroline Best and Mrs. Lillian Schafer.
