Earl Delbert Bushman (son of Karl Friedrich Buschmann and Johanna Jennie Kampmeier Seeden) was born 31 Jan 1916 in Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa, and died 17 Aug 1997 in St. Anthony Nursing Home, Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa. He married Dorthy Emma Vermillion on 23 Jun 1937 in Jefferson Court House, Greene County, Iowa.
Notes for Earl Delbert Bushman: Earl Delbert Bushman was born January 31, 1916, at Glidden, Iowa, a son of Charles and Jennie (Seeden) Bushman, He and Dorothy Vermillion were married June 23, 1937, at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden. Uncle Earl was a farmer, did carpentry work and was a janitor at Glidden-Ralston Schools for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Carroll; two sons and their wives; Phill and Gayle Bushman of Glidden and Marvin and Cecelia Buchman of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughter and their husbands; Juanita and Richard Wenck of Bettendorf, IA and Ellisa and Kirk Wenck of Wapello; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Bushman, of Wichita, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude Hunt, of Carroll; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Bushman of Glidden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Norman; and 10 brothers and sister; Harm Bushman, Dick Bushman, Carl Bushman, Robert Bushman, Harry Bushman, Jane Peter, Caroline Best, Lillian Schafer and Ada Heuton.
Pallbearers for Uncle Earl were, Charles Best, Raymond Peter, Leland Hunt, Larry Bushman, and David Bushman. He was buried on August 20, 1997 at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden. He wa laid to rest at Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery at Glidden.
