She married Harm Diedrich Bushman on 14 Mar 1918 in Peace Lutheran Church, Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa, son of Karl Friedrich Buschmann and Johanna Jennie Kampmeier Seeden.
Notes for Lydia O. Kluegel: OBITUARY FINAL RITES FOR MRS. HARM BUSHMAN Final rites for Mrs. Harm (Lydia) Bushman, 79, were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept 18 at Peace Lutheran Church here. Mrs. Bushman died at St. Anthony Regional Hospital on Tuesday, Sept 16 following a long illness. The Rev. Paul Bussert officiating at the rites. Mrs. Phil Bushman was organist. Vocal music was provided by a mixed quartet composed of Paul and Clifford Loeschen, Mrs. Doyle Hunt and Mrs. Charles Best. Casket bearers were Fred Cornelius, Marland Rohrbeck, Clayton Toller, Dwight Wine, Joe Hunt and Walter Thede. Interment was made in Westlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Bushman was born at New Ulm, Minn., October 8, 1895, the daughter of Gustav and Sophia Dierks Kluegel. She had lived in this area since coming here from Minnesota in 1897. Her marriage to Mr. Bushman took place at Glidden on March 14, 1918. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society and the Get Together Club. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Lete) Kruse of Glidden and Mrs. Thomas (Lola) Kallman of Dublin, Calif.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
