Ludwig O. Heuton, 75, of Glidden died at 6:30 a. m. Monday at St. Anthony hospital in Carroll after a long illness. He had been hospitalized since Sept 12. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran Church, Grant township. The Rev. Robert Mix will officiate. Internment will be made in Westlawn cemetery. Mr. Heuton, a retired farmer, was a lifelong resident of this area. A son of Henry and Mary Best Heuton, he was born at Glidden Nov. 30, 1892, and attended rural school in this vicinity. His marriage to Ada Bushman took place in Peace Lutheran Church, Gidden in 1917. Survivors include four sons, Virgil of Tallahassee, Fla; Arnold and Delbert of Glidden; and Merle of Des Moines; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Mrs. Gertie Berns of Lanesboro and Mrs. Mary Onken of Carroll; and three brothers, Herman of Arnolds Park, Joe of Lanesboro and Walter of Glidden. His wife and two brothers Henry and Fred, preceded him in death.
