Janette V. Mosher was born 24 Jul 1909 in Carroll County, Iowa, and died 18 Oct 1986 in St. Anthony Nursing Home, Carroll, Carroll County, Iowa. She married Carl Frederick Bushman on 25 Mar 1928 in Peace Lutheran Church, Glidden, Carroll County, Iowa, son of Karl Friedrich Buschmann and Johanna Jennie Kampmeier Seeden.
Notes for Janette V. Mosher: OBITUARY JANETTE V. BUSHMAN Janette Bushman, 77, died Saturday, October 18, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll. Services were held Tuesday, October 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden with the Rev. David Fechner as celebrant. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery in Glidden. Casket bearers were Denny Mosher, Charles Best, Arnold Heuton, Raymond Kruse, Clif Bushman and Delbert Heuton. Organist was Cliff Loeschen. Mrs. Bushman was born July 24, 1909, in Carroll County, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Eunice Tubbs Mosher. She attended a country school in Carroll County and later helped at home in raising her brothers and sisters. She was married to Carl Bushman on March 25, 1928, at Peace Lutheran Church by the Rev. F.H. Rudi. The Bushmans farmed southeast of Glidden until 1951, when they moved to the Scranton-Churdan area where they farmed until Carl Bushman's death in 1966. Mrs. Bushman then moved to Glidden and worked in the kitchen at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll for 17 years. Surviving are her son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, LaRaine of Churdan, a daughter, Mrs. Donna Platt, and son-in-law, Lowell, of Glidden, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and two brothers Melvin and Millie Mosher, both of Rinard, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a son, in infancy, her husband, her parents, one brother and three sisters. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden and the Peace Lutheran L.W.M.L.
