Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
The Kinsels and Fredricks were and are just regular folks. Our history may only interest a few in the family, but the immensity of the interconnected human family somehow calls to the family historians. We are the ones who take pictures of tombstones, travel great distances to mine for that elusive nugget, and love ancestors and distant cousins we've never met. I can only hope that I can conribute something worthy of all of you who have literally put your blood, sweat & tears into your quest for the lost past. Thanks to my father-in-law for getting me interested, my distant cousins who have shared info and pics with me, and my greatest thanks to our family historian, Mary Gatewood. No one will ever know how much she has done not only for our family, but also for other researchers. She is a gifted woman who leaves her mark on anyone she touches.
