I am new to geneaology and I have no clue how to begin! I have very little to go on....
My great-grandfather was named Walter Hurst, his wife was Addie Chadwick,(possibly spelled Shadwick) Walter Hurst left home when he was around 14 years old and never went back or spoke to any of his family again... I do not know who his parents were!!!! they settled in the Ida bel Oklahoma area and later went on to DeKalb,Texas which is where i believe they stayed for some time, then on to Turkey, TX Which is where Walter and Addie both died sometime around 1954-1960 not real clear on dates.They may have originally came from Tennessee, which could possibly be where Walter was from.They had several children,
Arthur(Pete), who was my grandpa, and Ed, Buddy, Lonzo, Jeff, Willie, Jesse and Roberta. Pete was born On 06/25/1911. This is the farthest back of any info that I have....SOMEONE PLEASE HELLLPPPP!!
