The info on this family is based on 3 of 11 brothers, James, Thomas, and Floyd. We have no info about the other 8. There are hundreds of descendants from mostly Floyd and James who keep in contact regularyly. The majority of James' family lives in Delaware, Floyd's family members are located in parts of Maryland and Virginia, some in New York state. Thomas' are in Penn. There are two towns in VA many of the older family members speak of where they believe there may be some Hurt/Hurtts, Danville and Hurtsville. Although the last names are spelled differently, the brothers were from the same parents as well as the other siblings. We had a family reunion July 1999 and are planning for another for 2001. If anyone believes they may be related to either of the brothers or has any info on the other 8 brothers, please contact me. We would love to find out what happened to the rest of our family.
