As with most Hustead/Husted family members, I trace my ancestry to Robert, born approx. 1594. Below is my line of ancestors.
Robert,1594-Angell,1625-Joseph,1662-David,1685-John,1731-Moses,1749-James,1780-Daniel,1818-William-Charles Delino Hustead,1863-Charles-Charles Dill,1915-Myself, Robert Charles Hustead, 1952.
My Grandfather lived in Nebraska. His brother Theodore(Ted) settled in Wall, South Dakota. My father settled and married in California after WWII. I have two sons who are not yet married. One of my two Daughters married into the Wagnon family.
A great deal of research has been done by Hustead/Husted families. I appreciate email from the "cousins", I'm always learning and adding to my "tree".
My maternal grandparents were Polish and Lithuanian. I haven't gotten very far researching them. They were: Felix Kovalevski(Kovalovsky) and Adela Mary Wilkevich. I recently received the Death Certificate for Felix. The handwriting by my Grandmother was difficult to read; I am guessing at the spelling of her surname and I have run accross many spellings for both surnames. I have been trying to establish what the original spellings would have been. I would appreciate any help along these lines.
