Other than my father I am not aware of any living relatives with the same surname. I have located one other individual in Ohio with the same surname and a handful in Canada and England. I am also researching my mothers maiden name (Stamps.) I have limited information on both sides. Both my father's parents have passed away and the documents that we do have are difficult to read and the spelling of names is inconsistant. I have been told that HWOZDYK means "NAIL" in a Russian dialect, but have not confirmed this.
