The search for my Grandpa, "Tommy Figiel"

Updated February 20, 2001

About Our Family Research

Looking for the elusive THOMAS FIGIEL. We don't know much about him. He was born Jan 12, 1887 in either Austria or Poland, came to the U.S. (Ellis Island I presume) as a "young man", married Blanch Jogodzinski (don't know when) in Flint Mi. First born - son - 1921 named Leo, second born - daughter - 1924 named Evelyn Eleanor (original birth cert. stated "Eleanor Evelyn" this was later changed to "Evelyn Eleanor"). Tommy and Blanch were divorced (don't know when, but shortly after the birth of Evelyn). Never remarried. Moved to Saginaw, Mi. and worked at the old Nodular Iron Foundry. Died in Saginaw, May 1965.
