"The Workman Family Search "

Updated November 9, 2000

About Our Family Research

I am the Granddaughter of Frisco John Workman and Mattie Catherine (Keen) Workman formerly of Tuscon, Arizona by way of Momence, Illinois and the Great Granddaughter of Thomas Bell Workman and Mary Jane (Harbour) Workman of Loami Township, Sangamon County, Illinois who are my maternal Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents. My family and I have embarked on a Geneology search for one individual in particular from our families history, for whom contact was lost in the 1920's. We have been searching for him since the death of my grandfather Frisco in January of 1976.

I, as well as my family are in search of any information in regards to Benjamin Franklin Caldwell Workman who is my Great Uncle. He may have went by the name of Franklin or Frank Workman in his later years.

The information we have obtained in regard to Benjamin Franklin Workman is as follows and believed to be true based on documentation we have obtained through birth registration, our family bible and family letters.

Name at Birth: Benjamin Franklin Caldwell Workman
Date of Birth: December 24 or 26, 1904 in Loami Township, Sangamon County, Illinois
Parents Names: Thomas Bell and Mary Jane (Harbour) Workman
Siblings Names: Essie May, Mary Elizabeth, Victor Leroy, Frisco John (All are deceased)
Last known residence and date: Kansas 8/24/1927

We have turned to numerous sources in our search, but unfortunately we have had no luck in doing so. I and my family are hoping that by this posting we could possibly obtain information on Benjamin Franklin Caldwell Workman or any of his desendents.

If you have any information regarding Benjamin Franklin Caldwell Workman or his desendents can you please share your information. The sole purpose of this posting is intended to obtain any information regarding the above mentioned and piece together a part of our family that has been lost for too many years.

Any information you have would be sincerely appreciated.
