The Hildebrands-Braddicks-Neuweilers of New York

Updated November 9, 2000

About Our Family Research

I have just started to search for information on the Hildebrands, Ericksons, Braddics, Neuweilers and Merrills.
The Neuweilers came from Germany to the US in the 1800's. Elizabeth's maiden name I believe was Christman or Bader. Her father was a braumiester in Germany. She left Germany to find the stable boy who moved to the US. It was true love. She opened a florist shop and then I believe part of that famiy may have moved to PA to start a brewery there. She had three daughters, Mary, Elizabeth, and Amalia (Molly). Ellizabeth married John Braddick.
On the other side Frederick Hildebrand was a photographer who later became an x-ray technician at Saint Francis Hospital and Mount Sinai. Anyone remember Dr. Druckerman or Izzy Fischer?
He worked with them.
