our family is the closest family. If you are a friend we make you feal like family. When you are a stranger we make you a friend. I know my family on my mothers side, "Ibarra", very well and we are all very close FAMILY to us means FOREVER. Meaning we will always always be together through thick and thin you can never change who you are related to. But on my fathers side, "Mendoza", i do not know them very well. My father passed on when my mother was still pregnet with me. But I still had my grandmother, grandfather, and family but after my mother decided to move out of my hometown, when i was 8 yrs old, i lost touch with my fathers side. Finaly at 18 i decided to get out there and search it took me a year to finaly to get in touch with them. But when i finaly did i was the happiest girl in the world or at least thats how i felt. Now i keep in touch with all my family and i will be going to my first family "thing", on my fathers side in April 01'. On my mothers side on the other hand it is very different we get together on Thanksgiving and keep in touch at least once a week. I love my family very much every single member.
